Since its introduction, this new versatile bio-resorbable nasal dressing from Polyganics has proven to be an extremely popular choice with Rhinologists – even in instances where packing has not previously been routine practice.

Nasopore is indicated for both epistaxis and surgical applications and is available in three compressions.

These differ in firmness to offer the surgeon the flexibility to control a post-surgical bleed or alternatively for use as a dissolvable stent for functional endoscopic surgery. It is ideal for day surgery as it only takes five days to fragment through the nasal pathways. In many cases, the patient is able to develop an airway after 24 hours. Feedback also suggests that Nasopore offers greater stenting ability and handling over other ‘gel-based’ alternatives.
